What is FFC ORG?

FFC ORG is a Canadian agriculture learning, participation and earning initiative. We combine hands-on farm training, supervised agricultural projects, business education and community participation for people aged 13 to 70. FFC ORG is an independent organisation and is not affiliated with FFA, the National FFA Organization, 4-H, any government agency or any school unless a partnership is formally confirmed.

Who can participate?

Anyone from age 13 to 70 who is interested in practical agriculture, food production, farm business or the flowers and bouquet program. Students, newcomers, families, career changers, retirees and complete beginners are all welcome to register their interest.

Do I need farming experience?

No. Programs are structured so that people with no experience can start at the beginning, while people with existing experience can work on more advanced projects.

Can I earn money?

FFC ORG teaches practical production, marketing and entrepreneurship skills. Some projects may include earning, revenue-sharing or selling opportunities, but income is not guaranteed and depends on project terms and results.

How does the flower and bouquet program work?

Participants learn seasonal and cut-flower growing, harvesting and conditioning, then bouquet design, wrapping, packaging and presentation for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and events. The business module covers custom orders, pricing, profit calculation, social media and customer service.

Can I sell bouquets from home?

Participants can learn home-based floral business skills. Actual operation of a home business must comply with applicable municipal, zoning, tax, licensing and other legal requirements.

Are minors allowed?

Yes, from age 13. Parent or guardian consent is required, and a parent/guardian contact must be provided on the registration form.

Do I automatically get accepted after registration?

No. The online form is an expression of interest only. Final acceptance will be communicated separately after the required steps are completed.

Are only 25 places available?

Yes. The founding intake near Brampton is limited to 25 participants. Additional intakes may be announced later.

What safety requirements apply?

Farm environments involve equipment, animals, tools and outdoor conditions. Participants are required to follow FFC ORG safety instruction, wear suitable clothing and footwear, and complete any waivers, safety forms and supervision requirements that apply to their project.
